Looks:omewhat short for his age, his height not even reaching the 5’ mark, the young Daiki is a slender, somewhat scrawny young boy who, despite his lack of height or build, manages to look slightly older than his 11 years – mostly due to the slight blue-grey discoloration of the sclera, or ‘whites’ of his light green eyes that make him seem both a little older than he actually is and, add an air of sickliness to him. His off blonde hair has been left to grow out into a somewhat shaggy mop that hangs down over his ears and, occasionally, in front of his eyes. Although he currently doesn’t have any visible scars or identifying marks, he does have the Reifuu Organization seal at the base of his neck, but this is only visible in ultraviolet light.

Clothing wise, he’s usually found bundled up in a white, long sleeved pull-over like shirt, somewhat baggy around the sleeves, over which he wears a dark blue waist coat like garment – seemingly more to break up the monotony of his plain white under-garment than anything else. As well as this he wears a pair of long, baggy ¾ length dark blue shorts that hang down to his mid calves, held up by a plain black leather belt, attached to which is a brown leather sheath holding a kunai knife, located over his right hip. A Weapon holster is strapped to his right thigh and a standard issue equipment pouch hangs from the belt over the left buttock. He rounds the ensemble off with a pair of plain, dark brown sandals. As he’s currently an academy student, he doesn’t yet possess a ninja forehead protector.

Personality: Ryo is generally a quiet person who keeps himself to himself and doesn’t tend to bother other people who don’t bother him first. That isn’t to say that he’s shy, or timorous, and if engaged in a conversation he will generally be polite, friendly and tend to get on well with most people, but he generally isn’t one for initiating anything and tends to be more of a natural follower than a leader. Due to his disease, he’s learned to avoid conflict wherever possible and will often go to great lengths to avoid a potentially hazardous physical confrontation, even backing down and agreeing with another person’s opinion if it should come to that. He is, however, fiercely loyal to any friends he makes, and will always defend them, no matter what, even if it should mean getting into a fight.

Likes: Mixing up some new concoction, gathering ingredients for said concoctions, learning, making sick people better, stargazing
Dislikes: Blood, violence, pain (his own and other people’s), rainy days.
Hobbies: Working in the family shop, mixing various herbal remedies, coming up with new or improved concoctions

History and RP Sample
History:Childhood
Ryo is the third and youngest child born into the Hyuuga family. Like his elder brother and sister, he was groomed from a young age to take up the family craft and help run the family’s apothecary shop and as a result had a slightly different upbringing to the average child – where most children are told stories to keep them entertained, Daiki instead spent much of his youth learning about herbal lore on his mother or father’s lap. Maybe it was because of this early start, maybe it was because some of her family’s skill was somehow ingrained into him on a genetic level, maybe it was both, but either way Ryo proved to be a natural at her family’s craft and from the age of 4 would often be found working diligently somewhere in the shop or out in the nearby woods gathering various ingredients.

This wasn’t the only way in which he was somewhat different from other children his age, as the young Ryo was born with type 1 osteogenesis imperfecta, or brittle bone disease. This condition, although not crippling, limited what he could do, socially with the other children his age, as any rough-and-tumble activity had a high potential to cause the young boy injury. As a result he tended to be something of a social outcast with most children his own age, and only had a few close friends, most of which tended to be girls – who had much less interest in rough and tumble games.

With the potentially crippling or even fatal consequences of his injury, it may seem surprising that Ryo chose to become a ninja – a profession that seems destined to do nothing but throw him into situations where he’s likely to end up severely injuring himself. His entire decision to take this career path, however, can be traced back to a chance meeting with one of his friend’s elder siblings – a trainee medical ninja – who ended up having to demonstrate their skills in order to patch up the aftermath of a particularly scrappy game of king of the hill.

Academy Student Arc
Academy life has, so far, not exactly been easy for Ryo. From the outset, he struggled with most of the basic parts of ninja training and has generally been in the bottom third of his class as most of his teachers quickly came to realize that his talents didn’t particularly lie in any real field of the basic ninja arts, his disease preventing him from being any good at sparring or weapon combat and his ninjutsu skills being sub-par at best.



Rp Sample:And so it was that Ryo one day found a note in his locker, asking him to meet… whoever, on the training field after class hours were over. Curiosity piqued, he attended the renzendevous at the appropriate time, and it was there that he met Hyuuga Shikarosuto or ‘Rosu’ for short and his introduction into the world of the Hyuuga began. Under her guidance and extra tuition, his grades and skills slowly began to improve – not enough to pull him out of the bottom third of his class, but enough that he was, at least on occasion, close to breaking into the middle of the pack. It was around about this time that Rosu explained to him that she was a member of the Hyuuga group Ryo. With her tuition, He began to learn the basics behind the organization’s Sealing Techniques, managing to pick them up with surprising rapidity, learning one of the basic techniques far faster than any other technique he’d previously learned. Whether or not this is just beginner’s luck however, or whether this is a sign of a hidden, previously untapped talent, however, still remains to be seen.

Ritsu rushed down the hall trying to stop thinking about what Yuri might have thought. What if he thinks that I am creepy or annoying he thought. Once he got to the arena, he forgot all about it though. This being the first time Ritsu had ever been to the arena, it came as a huge shock to him. As Ritsu looked around, he saw that nearly everyone in Kumogakure was in the stadium, since this was the first ever academy tournament all the people in the village must have wanted to watch. As he looked towards the arena, he saw that there were a few tree's to one side and an almost desert looking place to the other side. Looking around, he saw the Raikage in a chair near the back of the stadium where there was a lot of shade. "Wow, this is huge" Ritsu said muttering to herself, unintentionally.

He then realized that it was his turn to battle, so he stepped down the steps, into the arena feeling more butterflies in his stomach then he had ever felt before. As he walked towards the starting area, he took another look at his surroundings, he saw that to his right, was the tree's that he had seen before, and to his left was the dessert. What he did not see from the stands however was what was behind him. He looked back and saw an area that was almost like a lake, except for a lot shallower, perhaps just to get a short burst of energy for a water jutsu user.

He stepped into the area where he was supposed to start; just waiting for his opponent to get there was making him even more nervous. I can't wait for this to start.

As his opponent got there, Ritsu got nervous You can do this, You can do this. he thought as he got into his fighting stance. "You may begin" the Kazekage said. As you as he said that, Ritsu jumped backwards and threw 3 shurikan at his opponent, Yuri. Since he knew that they probably wouldn't hit, as she was busy trying to dodge them, Ritsu made 2 clones of himself and all three of them attacked her at the same time. She may be a fellow student, but if I want to win this tournament I am going to have to do it forcefully Ritsu thought as he threw a kunai in the cover of the clones two. (Since Yuri is my own character I am going to god mod her here)

Yuri saw 3 shurikan coming her way and stepped to the side to avoid them. When she looked back planning on attacking, she saw three clones of Ritsu running straight at her. They stopped about halfway and threw kunai, she didn't know which one was real, and didn't know what to do so she just put her arm up and blocked the attack. As she did that, she grasped her arm and pulled out the kunai. Grunting with pain, Yuri threw the kunai back at Ritsu hoping to hit him back, but it missed. She then saw another kunai coming her way, but it looked as if this one was made of water. What is that? Yuri thought looking at the strange Kunai and moving out of the way. The kunai then exploded on a rock beside her, she looked back at Ritsu and "You really think that w-" she started but then gasped in shock as another kunai was coming straight at her stomach

Ritsu looked as his water kunai hit the rock beside her. He saw her move to the side looking at it strangely and threw another regular kunai at her stomach as she turned around, is too late. The kunai hit directly on its mark, in the middle of her stomach, luckily it hit no organs. I did it; I actually did it Ritsu thought very proud of himself. Smiling from his chin to the top of his nose, Ritsu walked back to the waiting deck. "The next match will be between Kanta Nisharo, and Kurokawa Hara" Ritsu heard the Kazekage announce

I'm not sure if this is allowed considering I heard we aren't allowing curse seals, I'll have to check with someone on that.
