We've Had Enough -[P]-

Yun continued sitting on the ground looking up at Takeshi "Something wrong?" he saw the man wasn't moving really, head pounding the card floated back up his sleeve slowly, unable to move anything quickly without using the hint of concentration he used to move them quickly. Any concentration at all caused him the same pounding feeling in his head he felt now. They needed to be on there way however, Yun stood up and reached into his back pocket pulling out some pain killers and popping them into his mouth then stood with a nod, unsure how long he would stand before becoming drowsy.

"Nah, I'm good. Just caught my foot on some roots is all". Standing up straight, he felt the pain deminish as he moved towards Yun. "Let's go. The mines should be ENE of here".

Yun nodded "lets go." letting Takeshi lead the way, he did have the map. He was unsure of how far the mines were from the town hopefully not far.

As they continued down the path, the foliage was getting sparse. The areas between trees steadily growing larger and small bushes were all but gone now. "Turn here" Takeshi says as they reach an area where the path could be said to fork. The main, well trodded path lay clear and continued straight while Takeshi turned and started down a steep, overgrown path that lead to the base of the mountains.

The path was very narrow, less than a meter wide and would only allow for a sinle person to move along it at once. In truth, a perfect way to escape as pursuers would suffer in greater numbers. It took the two over three hours to finally reach the bottom. If the man had used this trail, he must have been highly experienced in traversing it and could well reach the bottom in less than an hour.

"Alright, we're here".

Yun glanced out over the mines, there were a few workers standing around drinking something or other. Occasionally a car came out delivering some supplies looking like silver or something of the like. Yun approached one of the men, and one of them shouted, "Hey! You ! This isn't a tour, get out, this is a private mining operation!" Yun sighed, "We were just wondering if anyone has passed through here lately, have you seen anyone?" The men looked at each other, "What? No one enters here, just you two travelers. Now Get out!" Yun sighed, and turned around, "Come on, this doesn't look like the right place."

Yun went back up the path and took the main road, takeshi beside him, looking at the map it appeared. Yun was staring into the foliage and for other paths, maybe they could find something. There was something...it looked like nothing more then a deer path. Nothing it seemed, no sign of miners or evil creatures or the man they were following. "Lets take a break, we've been moving fast for a while, I don't think were gonna get anywhere, we need to stop and think." Yun said looking over and taking a seat on the side of the road.

Takeshi sat beside him, Yun glanced at the map, examining the terrain they were in, it seemed like they wouldn't be finding anyone today.

"Great, now what do we do". Takeshi says as he kicks a tree. The imprint of his foot remaining embeded in the bark. He then begins pacing around on the spot impatiently.
"There is no way he would follow the main path is there?". He says mostly to himself before simply shouting into the air. "I will be right back, figure out something before I come back". He says before disappearing into the brush.

Yun sighed, "yea sure........" he said as takeshi disappeared. Resting his elbows on his knees and chin on his hands he began to think, reaching into his pocket pulling out the drawing. Examining it, he examined it in his hands, looking closely at it, sighing he stuffed it back into his pocket, giving up. Looking back into the brush, he blinked tiredly, this was exhausting maybe just a quick....he fell backwards laying down, he took too many pills it seemed.

The light began to dim as the sun slowly began setting over the distant mountain tops. A short time after leaving his temporary companion, he had come across some particular tracks and had been following them ever since. He was lucky as he was moving downwind and his prey would not be able to detect his approach. He came to a clearing which was at the base of a cliff with a cave, the tracks leading right inside. Silently, he crept into the cave. "That guy better have a fire started. It gets cold at night in this country".

Yun just simply remained asleep, twitching once in a while on the side of the road. His body fast asleep and it would take some effort to wake him, it appeared he had definitely taken too many pills this time. Yun's body lay motionless for several minutes,his pulse had slowed dramatically as well.

The moon already hung high in the sky by the time Takeshi returned. Twings and underbrush cracked as he drug his prize towards the area where they had parted. He quickly noticed no fire had been lit and he let out an aggrivated noce as he finally entered the clearing. Looking around, he found an unconcsious Yun lying upon the ground. "Oh great, he passed out.." He moans as he flops the corpse of a bear onto the ground. Turning back into the woods he starts gathering deadfall for a fire.

Yun sat up like a flagpole when the bear hit the ground. "What the Fuck!?' Yun said scratching his head and grabbing it after a second he let out a moan of pain. "Ugh..too many pills" Yun mumbled as he stumbled to get up then fell back to the ground. Unable to move he just grabbed some twigs that were laying around and piled them up. Looking around for Takeshi.

"Great, you're awake" Takeshi says as he throws down a large pile of branches and dry leaves, followed by an old log. If you were sick you should have just stayed home. If we run across those ugly bastards again you will be useless". The log was hollow so he began stuffing it with several small branches and one larger one, then piling the rest around the log and, after a short time of rubbing the sticks together, gets a fire going. He then goes over to the bear and begins prepping it.

Yun blinked, "Its the Spades travel...gives me a headache, i think i took too many pills..." Yun moaned again, grabbing his head, "Well we better hope that they don't like fire or they don't show up." Yun said flopping over unable to stay sitting upright. Watching Takeshi work on the bear only made him slightly sick and turned over to his other side watching the fire instead.

"Overdosed? Then you're even more useless. If it was just exhaustion or sickness, there are plenty of herbs around here to treat it, but you go and screw yourself good". He then proceeds to cut the head off the bear and tosses it to the side, along with the organs he had recently removed. With only the meat remaining, he carves it into manageable pieces and mounts it on a large stick that hung over the fire. "I hope you are at least capable enough to flip that when it is needed to be". He says as he lifts the organs and head. "I gotta take this away so animals won't come sniffing around". He than turned and left into the night, dragging the head and organs with him.

Yun nodded reaching for the stick and placing it near him. "I can do that." he muttered after Takeshi dragged the thing away. Recent events ran through his head in circles, some of it didn't add up but he was beginning to put pieces together, the man was preaching about some 'ascension.' Yun scratched his head flipping the meat. They had white rags, some religious purpose perhaps, as Takeshi stated. Well if he was preaching perhaps it was some kind of technique that made people follow, but then why didn't he just use it on Yun and Takeshi? Things weren't adding up, Yun stopped thinking it was only furthering his headache.

Finding a small ditch, Takeshi dumps the raw meats and turns back. The sound of running water nearby was a relief as he could get the stench of dead bear off him, as well as get something to drink. Just realising it had been over six hours without food or water. He leaps off into the distance in search of the sound.

After about twenty minutes he comes to a river flowing through the area. The Village was further off and it was likely he could find it if he followed the riverbed. Either way, it was no longer any of his concern, dispite the feelings that arose when he thought of the creatures still clawing at the gates. He washed himself off and fills his container before heading back.

Yun glanced at Takeshi as he returned then went back to watching the meat cook, he was sitting up now, the pounding wasn't as bad but it was still pounding. He exhaled looking inside his pockets for anything to fiddle with that wasn't cards, he fumbled and pulled out a small metal disk on a cord. Sighing as he looked at it. not that.. he thought stuffing it back into his pocket, finding nothing else. He waited for the meet to cook, the night was quiet for once, just the crickets.

With the piece done, Takeshi takes the meat off and hands it to Yun. "I'm not sure about how much you can eat, but best to get as much down as possible". He then takes a much larger piece and places it over the fire. "This one is for me" He says as he gets up and goes back into the brush, the fire was dying low and they were out of fuel.

Yun looked at the meat, it was hot and his hands were the only thing he could put them on. It burned like a bitch but he held on as he ate away, slowly before he couldn't eat anymore. "Ugh, food is not good." Yun said steadying himself. He watched Takeshi's meat cook slowly and put his meat into the fire, if nothing it would give a smell to the place. He brushed off his slightly burned hands on his shirt. "Oi, iuno what to do from here. We have no leads on where he might have gone." Yun stated, sitting back with his hands behind him.

It was quiet for a while, Takeshi just flipping his meat every once in a while. Yun watching the fire as he thought. Yun wasn't very alert as a black hand covered his mouth, or should he say a gloved hand. His eyes went wide as two feet crushed his hands. He couldn't even activate his cards. unable to form the single handed handsign that he could do so fast no one could see.

He was doubtful takeshi could even see the hand because of the night. Yun could tell it was a woman however, he could feel her chest on his back, and unless the man was really fat, it was definitely a woman. Yun thought slow and clear, thinking of how to escape. He looked around, was it only one? Had this woman been stupid? Unless she was powerful as hell Takeshi would surely kick her ass once she attempted to do anything to Yun.

He let out a loud grunt, and the woman gasped, hoping to grab takeshi's attention with the grunt yun still was unable to move.

"You can get up now" Comes Takeshi's voice from behind the woman, the version of him that was turning hte meat disappeared in a cloud of smoke. The woman should have fallen limp by now and the only reason she was stinn in that position was because Takeshi had her by her collar. Lifting her off the ground by it, he drags her into the light, a bruise already forming on the back of her neck where he had struck her out cold.

She wore a full body, skin tight suit, dark blue and black camo, perfect for hiding in the darkness. She bore no village headband so either she was a mercenary for hire, missing nin, or some other reason. He had noticed her approaching when he was collecting extra firewood, sending a clone back and watching her movements. There was still a chance she had others coming with her. "Can you stand?"

Yun blinked as he moved his hands in front of him. Suddenly a deep man's voice was heard all around them. "Don't Move." The voice boomed as the terrain suddenly became brighter, and the landscape began to shift to a mountain top. Yun blinked "Takeshi, were in Genjutsu. And i can't break it in my condition." Yun said shaking his head, Who else is after us today...? creatures, a crazy preacher, now this! Yun thought, as the girl's body flickered for a moment then disappeared, "They got the girl." Yun stated, "Be Quiet Both of you." The voice let out again. "Takeshi, when i tell you do that one thing you did back at the Inn." Yun said in a rushed tone activating his chakra seal, he felt the chakra streaming to his head from the right of him. Extending his left arm out, dozens of clubs cards shot out in that direction. The Genjutsu broke. "Now!" Yun Shouted.

"Yeah fine" Takeshi replies as he forms the skin of chakra around his body, the instant the genjutsu was dropped he blasted out a wave of chakra. "Freeze" was it's command and it would likely stun any of the enemies who were near.

Yun watched, the people seemed unaffected, "What the?" He looked around, not even he could react upon it Yun stood up standing back to back with Takeshi now, however flimsy he was, they weren't going down without a fight. There were around 20 of them, only 4 or 5 of them stopped when Takeshi used his attack. He noticed something the ones who were affected had nothing out of the ordinary on them, However the ones who weren't had something on them, a necklace....the same one that other man had.

Yun's mind raced unsure of what power these necklaces held. Were Screwed. Yun thought, "Takeshi, if anything get a necklace off of them, once you have one, even if I'm dead or knocked out. Run for it. Take it somewhere safe, someone will send for you if i'm not alive, and if i am. I will find you. I'm sure of it, Tell no one of it!" He shouted in a whisper as he reached into his pockets pulling out kunai and launching dozens in a single throw at the men in front of him. Grabbing a few cards and forming them into a sword shape. "Sword of Clubs!" He said continuing to charge.

"Hehehehehehehehehehehehe"A low laugh eminates from Takeshi as Yun goes in for the attack. Slowly, he raises his hands to about his chest level, clutching one into a fist while the other grasped it. The action was followed by a loud crack, then repeated for the other hand. "Finally, something I can understand" He laughs to himself as his grin covers his face. The flames from the fire flickered light upon his face and cast a long shadow behind him. "Oh, this is going to be fun". At that moment, he didn't give a damn about some necklace, he was simply pissed off and frustrated from the events of the past twelve hours and just found his punching bags. "I'll give you all five seconds, but none of you are getting away".

"5, 4, 3, 2, 1..."

Yun grinned at Takeshi, looking over his shoulder just as his sword was dispelled when he touched the opponent. "Shit." Yun muttered as the man's fist sent him backwards. Rolling over he coughed, "Sunnofa..' Yun said as the man charged at him and kicked yun threw his arms up aborbing most of the blow then taking the hit sending him backwards. He got up feeling woosy already then fell down, the man kicked Yun in the head as Yun dropped a spade card onto the ground and activated it just in time.
